Organization
As of our statues the oranizational units of STUVA are:
- General Assembly
- Board of Directors
- Advisory Council
- Executive Management
The General Assembly is the top organizational unit of the association. The General Assembly consists of the
members of the association and comes together at least every two years. The General Assembly decides on all basic aims and strategies of the association.
The Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly and consists of one chairman and up to six members, including two elected deputy chairmen. The
Board of Directors decides on all issues with respect to the basic decisions of the General Assembly.
The Advisory Council is elected by the General Assembly on proposal of the Advisory Board. The
Advisory Council consults the Advisory Board and supports its activities.
Depending on the type of the (research-)tasks, Research Committees can be convened by the Advisory Board. Research Committees consist of one leader and several associated members. All members are convened by the Advisory Board.
To fulfill the main tasks of all ongoing business STUVA has a
Office under supervision of one ore more Executive Managing Directors. The Managing Directors are bound to the directions of the Advisory Board.
The Office is divided into two business divisions:
- Division I is working on research regarding "
Traffic & Environment". - Division II is working on research regarding "
Tunnelling & Construction Technology".
Depending on the requirements of certain research tasks, special teams can be assembled from the staff of both divisions.
