IUT is an international trade fair taking place at Versuchsstollen Hagerbach near Sargans, Switzerland.  IUT is unique regarding to its special flair as an event taking place underground:

• the event takes place underground - your exhibits are shown exactly in place where  your customers will use it, and

• exhibitors have the unique opportunity to present your machines, installations and methods in real action.

IUT is an ideal place to present products and services for the underground construction industry.

 

STUVA e.V. has, among others, overtaken the patronage of this event. Also in patronage:  Swiss Tunnelling Society, Austrian Association for Geomechanics. The event is officially supported by the International Tunnelling Assiciation.

IUT'11

Both exhibitors and visitors were again of the opinion that Innovation Underground was once again able to prove itself as a focal point for the industry together with the accompanying fair with all it had to offer in 2011. Consequently the 6^th IUT with some 3,000 visitors in the Hagerbach Test Gallery (VSH) in Switzerland was able to draw a successful balance. The around 100 companies involved expressed their great satisfaction with the optimal size of the exhibition, the special Light and Colour show and the Presentation Forum. Many were particularly impressed by the visit of Brazilian tunnel experts arranged by the IUT joint venture.
