STUVA Conference 2009 in Hamburg

The STUVA'09 Conference took place at Congress Center Hamburg from Dec. 1st to 3rd, 2009.
Visitors
About 1,600 visitors, including 1,320 personally registered attendees, participated in the lectures and visited the accompanying exhibition.
Opening
ITA president Martin Knights welcomes the attendees in the name of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association.
STUVA Prize 2009
Professor Duddeck was honoured in tribute to and in valuation of his lifetime achievement for the tunnelling community.
Keynote Lectures
MR Joachim Naumann reported on 'Current Developments in Road Tunnel Construction as well as Experience in Tunnel Upgrading'.
Exhibition
About 130 exhibitors presented their products and their know-how on a net floor area of approx. 2,000 m².
