STUVAtec GmbH Continues to Strengthen Its Fire Protection Expertise

Professional development is far more than an empty phrase at STUVA – it is taken very seriously, and that commitment pays off! Our colleague Ruben Deckers has recently invested a great deal of his personal time, alongside his daily project work, to complete an advanced scientific training programme as a certified fire protection planner and site manager at TH Köln – and with outstanding success. His qualification covers key topics such as legal fundamentals, technical fire protection measures, and the complex interfaces with building services engineering. With 365 hours of instruction, project work, and a demanding final examination, he has demonstrated that he meets the highest professional and personal standards.

This achievement further strengthens STUVAtec GmbH’s already robust competence in preventive fire protection as a subsidiary of STUVA e. V. Previously, Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Hahne, Head of Fire Protection & Safety, had completed training as a certified fire protection expert and has since been re-certified several times. Together, the two colleagues now form a team that covers all requirements for contemporary fire protection – from concept to implementation.

Since its founding exactly 30 years ago, STUVAtec GmbH has been a reliable partner for all matters relating to preventive fire protection in underground transport facilities. With the additional expertise in specialist planning and site management, as well as expert certification, we are now ideally positioned for building construction projects too – delivering fire protection concepts, compliance documentation, and on-site implementation.
