8th Munich Tunnelling Symposium
The planning, construction and maintenance of tunnel structures place high demands on all those involved. The complexity of the tasks always requires multidisciplinary cooperation between different experts: starting with geotechnical and rock mechanical exploration, through structural design, the selection of building materials and construction methods, to consideration of the operational equipment. In addition, the aspects of civil and public law are becoming increasingly important. The Munich Tunnel Construction Symposium offers all those involved in tunnel construction - such as clients, construction companies, planners, scientists and consultants - a platform to present and discuss current topics. The Förderverein Konstruktiver Ingenieurbau of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich and the STUVA have put together an interesting program with the support of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV), the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers, the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport and the construction industry and cordially invite you to participate in the 8th symposium.
This year's main topics are:
- Tunnel in Bavaria
- Sustainability in tunnel construction
- Contract models and risk
- Major international projects
The 8th Munich Tunnelling Symposium is recognized by the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers as an advanced training event (No. F240043) with 4 time units resp. points.
