Dr.-Ing. Roland Leucker appointed honorary professor

For his achievements in teaching as well as his professional and scientific merits, the Ruhr-Universität Bochum today awarded the title of Honorary Professor to Dr.-Ing. Roland Leucker, Managing director of STUVA. Prof. Leucker has for many years held the course "Management of Underground Traffic Facilities" at the faculty, in which students learn about the equipment, operation and maintenance of tunnels.

Professor Leucker is associated with teaching and research at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum not only through his teaching assignment but also as a member of the advisory board of the DFG Collaborative Research Centre 837 "Interaction Models for Mechanical Tunnelling" since its inception in 2010. In addition, the Chair of Tunnel Construction, Line Construction and Construction Operations at the Ruhr-Universität and STUVA are joint partners in several current research consortia. STUVA cordially congratulates Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Leucker.
