U-THREAT - Availability of public transport in crisis situations

As part of the U-THREAT research project, the seminar workshop "Availability of public transport in crisis situations" will take place in Düsseldorf on 9 April 2019. It is aimed at employees of public transport companies as well as experts in the field of rail-bound public transport systems.

In addition to the latest findings from the U-THREAT project, you can expect renowned experts from the field on this day to discuss experiences and suggestions for improvement with you on all aspects of the availability and durability of public transport systems. Among the central elements of the seminar workshop are

  • Practical experience in crisis management
  • Recognition of neuralgic network points
  • Fast repair of rail infrastructure
  • Crisis communication suitable for passengers

Use the opportunity for a personal exchange of experiences and discussion on site. The event is supported by the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) as an associated partner and supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). There are no costs for participation. The number of participants is limited to 30 persons, so we recommend a quick registration.
The provisional programme and the registration form can be obtained via the download link on the right.
